ABOUT ME

I'm a lifelong learner. I have spent the last 20 years in education at the high school and college level as a chemistry teacher. Recently, I have obtained a MS in Instructional Design and Technology. Technology, mobile learning, is growing at a fast rate in education. I desire to meet the needs of all learners. Technology can be an important tool to meet the individual needs of all learners.

I've been married 22 years to a wonderful elementary school teacher and I have 3 daughters. I stay busy with my children's activities, church, and online courses.

I work in the Leadership Development department for Awana International. ​I design leadership training using Articulate Storyline. I have been an Awana leader for 13 years. I'm very excited to use my instructional design degree to create important training.

I have spent the majority of my career working in High Schools as a chemistry teacher. I have taught all level of chemistry and physical science. I have experience using iPads in the classroom and using Blackboard, Canvas, and Haiku. I have coached track, Orchesis and Relay for Life sponsor.

I have taught General chemistry at a community and private college. I have been able to integrate technology successfully into the curriculum.
